You will:
- learn the value of hypnosis in birthing
- learn the gentle language of HypnoBirthing
- learn the approach of birth preferences and maintaining calm and comfort in birthing
- become familiar with class content and materials
- experience deep relaxation techniques as you learn to apply them in your supporting mums using the HypnoBirthing technique to birth
- receive a copy of the text, HypnoBirthing®- The Mongan Method, and a workbook, which will be helpful tools to refer to
- be among the first care providers in Singapore to support the increasing number of women birthing as nature intended, with confidence and joy.
The $325 fee includes the HypnoBirthing® textbook, a workbook/notebook packed with information. All professional care providers are welcome
to attend this one-day workshop to learn the philosophy and basic support techniques for HypnoBirthing clients.
You will spend the day learning, discussing and practicing the support techniques you need to know to
easily “look like a pro” with HypnoBirthing® parents. You will get to watch HypnoBirthing® videos with couples birthing
from all over the United States.
If you have attended births with clients using self-hypnosis techniques,
please attend and share your experience as you expand your skills.
Objectives: Participants will be able to:
- understand the HypnoBirthing® Philosophy
- define hypnosis and explain how it works and why it isn’t “mind control”
- identify proper use of HypnoBirthing terminology and its importance during the prenatal period, as well as during the birthing
- understand and implement the same techniques taught to birth companions during the HypnoBirthing® class series for parents
- identify the components of the HypnoBirthing® Birth Preference Sheet, how to implement the parents’ wishes and work in concert with the birthing staff
- understand and utilize information and techniques for creating parent-driven decision-making on the following items: induction evaluation, augmentation of
labor, hazards of induction and surgical birth, labor medications, epidural and Group B Strep
- identify when and how to use the HypnoBirthing® prompts and techniques, what you can do to keep this birthing Mum relaxed and birthing comfortably
